Ambler Flatwoods Nature Preserve is getting a lot of love lately! Along with our current boardwalk project, we’re rejoining our campaign against invasive species that volunteers started last year. Keith Richard Walner Nature Preserve comprises an impressive and significant floodplain forest along the Little Calumet River. The usual invasive suspects have taken hold along the banks of the Little Cal: bush honeysuckle, multiflora rose, and round-leaf bittersweet.
