Farmer and Porter County Soil & Water Conservation District Supervisor Tom Murphy and Cargill Conservation Agronomist Janelle Leach will discuss managing nutrients and sediments in farm fields and financial and technical support programs. Ashley Sharkey with the Lake Michigan Coastal Program will discuss caring for septic systems. Eric Bird, Stewardship Director at Shirley Heinze Land Trust will share ways to plant native plants in landscaping.
