Volunteer Workday @ Hildebrand Lake

As Shirley Heinze has developed Hildebrand Lake into a preserve the public can enjoy, we’ve enlisted the help of local industry and Girl Scouts. Now we’re asking for the help of our regular volunteer corps. As with many of our properties, garlic mustard has raised its nefarious stems in stark defiance.The rolling, scenic hills are home to spring ephemerals and dependable year-round native species like northern spicebush and many different ferns. We don’t want this invasive plant to become well-established while we continue our work finishing the trails and preserving native habitat. Join us on Friday, May 31st to help combat the incursion of this notorious invasive.
