Volunteer Workday at St. Francis

For the second consecutive year, Shirley Heinze is joining Franciscan Health in Michigan City for its annual Campus Cleanup! Volunteers will help us pick up trash and litter from the wetland around the boardwalk of St. Francis Nature Preserve.

Nature Highlights: Wooded wetland with mature hickories, oaks, beeches, sassafras, sedges, irises and other wetland plants.

What to Bring: Long pants and waterproof boots are recommended. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle as there is no potable water at this location.

Length: 2 hours

Weather Policy: Volunteer workdays are held in all types of weather, but we may be forced to cancel abruptly if conditions become unsafe or unproductive at or leading up to the event. Your safety is our first concern!

Amenities: Indoor restrooms and parking will be available. Lunch will be served after the event.

Please note that this event will take place at 10am Central Time. Volunteers need to arrive in the main lobby of the hospital by 9:45am Central Time.
