Volunteer Workday at Bourbon Woods Nature Preserve

Bourbon Woods is one of Shirley Heinze’s newest properties. Help us restore this old-growth forest habitat as we prepare to open the preserve to the public!
NOTE: This event will take place at 10am Eastern Time

• Nature Highlights: Captivating old-growth forest ecosystem, mosses, fungi, massive beech trees
• What to Bring: Warm outdoor clothing. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle as there is no potable water at this location.
• Weather Policy: Volunteer workdays are held in all types of weather, although if conditions become hazardous during or leading into the workday, we may be forced to cancel abruptly. Your safety is our first concern! No rain date.
• Amenities: Parking, main lot. No potable water.
