Volunteer Workday at Bourbon Woods

We plan to open Bourbon Woods to the public in the relatively near future. As we continue to prepare the property for public enjoyment, come out and help us transplant unique and delicate ephemeral plants from the newly cut trail. We may also pull garlic mustard or wintercreeper. It’ll be another fun workday in the old-growth forest!

Nature Highlights: Old growth forest, large beeches and other native trees.

What to Bring: Long pants and boots or sturdy shoes are recommended. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle as there is no potable water at this location.

Length: 4 hours

Weather Policy: Rain or shine. Event will be cancelled in inclement weather. No rain date.

Amenities: Parking at Westwood Park, Bourbon, IN.
