Storm Damage Cleanup @ Ritchie

The J. Timothy Ritchie preserve was accepted into the Old Growth Forest Network just earlier this year. Unfortunately, as a result of the storms on August 11, it has sustained quite a bit of damage. Our amazing Stewardship team did the hard work of cutting downed trees, but the trails are still in disarray. Join us as we work together to clean up this beloved community space!

What to Bring: Long pants and sturdy shoes or rubber boots are recommended. Gloves are highly recommended and will be provided. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle as there is no potable water at this location.

Length: 2 hours

Weather Policy: Rain or shine. Event will be cancelled in inclement weather. No rain date.

Amenities: No restrooms are available. Parking is limited, so we encourage carpooling where possible.
