Search for the first signs of spring with this guided hike at Lydick Bog Nature Preserve!

Join us on March 22 (two days after the official start of spring) to celebrate the spring equinox. Volunteer Naturalist Jan Hunter will take you through Lydick Bog Nature Preserve to look for the first signs of spring, from frog calls to the first emerging plants of the season.

NOTE: This event will take place at 10am Eastern Time

    • What to Bring: Long pants and sturdy shoes are recommended. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle as there is no potable water at this location.
    • Hike Length: About 1.5 miles
    • Weather Policy: Rain or shine. Event will be cancelled in inclement weather.
    • Amenities: Accessible outdoor restrooms will be closed for the season.
