Special Screening Event | The Fish Thief: A Great Lakes Mystery

The Fish Thief

Invasive species remain one of the greatest threats to the Great Lakes, including Trail Creek, a Lake Michigan tributary. The Trail Creek Watershed Partnership is hosting a screening of THE FISH THIEF: A Great Lakes Mystery, an award-winning documentary narrated by J.K. Simmons. The film reveals how the sea lamprey nearly wiped out key fish populations, causing economic and environmental devastation. While much has been done to control the crisis, the fight isn’t over. This screening is an opportunity to learn from history and discuss how we can continue to protect our local waterways.
