Saw-Whet Owl Research at Meadowbrook

October 26, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Join us Tuesday, October 26th at 7pm CDT in a webinar all about owls! Learn about the Northern Saw-Whet Owl, one of North American’s smallest owls at only 6-8 inches in length. Thanks to partnership efforts from across the country, researchers have a better understanding of the migration patterns of this once-mysterious owl. Register now to learn more about the Saw-Whet Owl, current research projects, and how to get involved!

Weather permitting, we will also be live streaming owl banding! Watch volunteers capture and band owls right here at Meadowbrook Preserve.

Please RSVP below. Participants can join via Zoom (link will be sent in separate email) or through Facebook Live.

This event is being provided free of charge. If you are able, please consider making a donation to support Shirley Heinze Land Trust’s education programming so that we can continue to provide these opportunities to all people.
