Gardening That Matters – Native Plant Landscaping

October 19 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free
Bumblebee on aster flower

Join us to delve deeper into the benefits of native landscaping, answering questions like, what plants are best for birds and caterpillars? What plants absorb the most runoff? We are excited to present this webinar with guest speaker Leslie Shad. Leslie founded Natural Habitat Evanston to help support healthy habitats through restoration of habitat, education and awareness and more, and also works to protect important forest habitat in LaPorte County, Indiana.

Please RSVP below. The Zoom link to participate will be sent in a separate email prior to the event. Update: Registration via Zoom is currently closed. However, you can still join us by visiting our Facebook page at the time of the event. We will be streaming live for everyone; no registration required.

This event is being provided free of charge. If you are able, please consider making a donation to support Shirley Heinze Land Trust’s outreach and education programming so that we can continue to provide these opportunities to all people.
