Meadowbrook Monday – Grow One, Keep One Prep!

Help us kick off our popular Grow One, Keep One program!

Native plant propagation is one of the most important aspects of stewardship at Shirley Heinze. On March 10th, we’ll start preparing the donated milk jugs for planting and getting other materials relating to the program ready. The seeds were collected from our own preserves and cleaned and sorted by our volunteers. The seedlings will be used to promote native plant diversity and climate resiliency at Meadowbrook Nature Preserve and in your back yard!

NOTE: This event will take place at 9am Central Standard Time

• Nature Highlights: Native seeds of many varieties, collected from Meadowbrook and other Nature Preserves
• What to Bring: We encourage you to bring your own water bottle as there is no potable water at this location.
• Weather Policy: Rain or shine. Event will be held indoors.
• Amenities: Accessible indoor restrooms and parking will be available. Fresh drinking water and snacks.
