Meadowbrook Monday

Join our Woody Warriors and help us remove bittersweet, honeysuckle, multiflora rose, autumn olive, and other unwelcome non-native plants from our newest trail. There are numerous invasive species target areas across the preserve, and we need your help to manage them!

NOTE: This event will take place at 9am Central Standard Time
NOTE: If weather is inclement we will be cleaning native seed indoors.

• Nature Highlights: Scenic upland forest trail loop, tulip, shagbark hickory trees, White-tailed deer
• What to Bring: Warm outdoor work clothes. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle to refill onsite.
• Weather Policy: Rain or shine. Our volunteer workdays are held in all manner of weather. If conditions approaching or on the workday become hazardous or unproductive, we may be forced to cancel abruptly. Your safety is our first concern!
• Amenities: Indoor restrooms and parking will be available.
