Meadowbrook Monday

There is a wide spectrum of work that needs to be done at Meadowbrook Nature Preserve, overlooking the gently rugged hills of the Valparaiso Moraine. We’d love to have your help to keep the preserve clean, healthy, and ecologically diverse. There are weeding and trimming projects to tackle, and various related tasks, too.

 

Be prepared to work outside and dress appropriately for the weather. Conditions on the workday may be wet, warm, or chilly. Volunteer workdays are held in all types of weather, although if conditions become hazardous during or leading into the workday, we may be forced to cancel abruptly. Your safety is our first concern! We will provide all the necessary equipment, gear, and water. We encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottle!
