Meadowbrook Monday

With summer upon us, there’s plenty of work to be done at this beautiful preserve along the Valparaiso Moraine. Right now, we need help with trail maintenance. The foliage in the forest and on the trails has filled in fast! We’re in need of volunteers to help tame the trails and keep the surrounding areas ecologically diverse.

Be prepared to work outside and dress appropriately for the weather. Conditions on the workday may be wet, warm, or chilly. Volunteer workdays are held in all types of weather, although if conditions become hazardous during or leading into the workday, we may be forced to cancel abruptly. Your safety is our first concern! We will provide all the necessary equipment, gear, and water. We encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottle!
