Canceled – Meadowbrook Monday

*EDIT:  This event has been canceled, but is being rescheduled for two weeks later on September 18th.*

The new pavilion at Meadowbrook Nature Preserve has become a focal point for ecological education and activities around the region.  Although it was constructed a year ago, it requires occasional maintenance to retain its neat, rustic elegance.  You can take part in its upkeep by coming out and helping us pull weeds, which are starting to grow up between the paving blocks.  We’ll also be removing the erosion control tubes and washing sediment off the patio surface.  This project should take just one workday to complete and will leave the pavilion in its intended state.

Be prepared to work outside and dress appropriately for the weather. We will provide all the necessary equipment, gear, light snacks, and water. We encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottle!
