Grow One Keep One Jug-Filling

We’re kicking off this year’s Grow One Keep One campaign! Help encourage our local pollinators and promote healthy habitat by fostering native plants and keeping half of what you raise for your own garden! Come by on March 28th to fill your jug with soil and seeds. You’ll foster them and let them grow, bringing half of them back in a few months for eventual replanting, and keeping the other half for your own garden or yard!
NOTE: This event will take place at 9am Central Time
- Nature Highlights: Working with native seeds, native gardening, good engagement opportunity for children and families
- What to Bring: ideas for what area you’d like to plant with native plants
- Length: 8 hours
- Weather Policy: Rain or shine. Event will be cancelled in inclement weather. No rain date. Those interested can come by at a later date and pick up milk jugs with seed also, if they can’t make this date.
- Amenities: Accessible restrooms and parking will be available.
