Dogs Days of Summer Hike @ Meadowbrook

If you’re up for a dog-gone good time, then stop by Meadowbrook Nature Preserve for our Dogs Days of Summer hike! Bring your four-legged friend (on a leash, of course) and join Shirley Heinze Land Trust staff for a hike through the woods. Learn about the history of the moraine forest, and take a moment to “paws” and discover the purples and yellows of August wildflowers.

You’ll also learn how to keep your best friend safe when enjoying the outdoors, from tick prevention to staying cool in the summer.

PLUS, you’ll go home with an INSTANT film photo of you and your pup!

Please come prepared with the essentials to make your dog comfortable and happy on the trail, including a leash and dog waste bags. Water and dog treats will be available. The trail at Meadowbrook varies from even gravel paths to moderate trails with stairs and bare roots. Public restrooms will be available.
