The Bringing Nature Home (BNH) recognition program is designed to inspire home gardeners, landscapers, businesses, and organizations to embrace landscaping with native plants, benefiting both aesthetics and local wildlife. Our goal is to heighten awareness about the critical role of native vegetation in supporting vibrant and resilient ecosystems.
Native gardeners have been instrumental in aiding our mission to protect and restore the unique natural areas of northwest Indiana. This year, the BNH program hit a new milestone, receiving an all-time high of 21 applications!
We cherish this growing interest and are excited to continue working together to further protect our local environments.
